🌊 Where is the Erasmus Surfcamp?
Our Surfcamp takes place in a magical setting at Praia de Mira, Portugal – a hidden paradise between the ocean and a natural lagoon.
Praia de Mira is located:
• 30 minutes from Aveiro 🏙️
• 1h30 from Porto ✈️
• 2 hours from Lisbon ✈️
🚗 How to Get There?
✈️ If you’re flying:
• From Porto Airport (OPO)
Take a train or bus to Aveiro, where we provide a direct transfer to Praia de Mira.
• From Lisbon Airport (LIS)
Take a train or bus to Aveiro, where our transfer will take you directly to our Base Camp.
•🚆 If you’re coming from another city in Portugal:
There are regular trains and buses to Aveiro. From there, we provide a transfer to Praia de Mira.

Nestled in the heart of nature, our surfcamp offers a unique stay in bungalows suspended over a natural lagoon, just a 5-minute walk from the beach.
Here, you wake up to the reflection of the sun on the water, surrounded by the sounds of nature, and just a few steps from the waves. 🌊🌞

Programme
🏄 Arrival Day – The First Day of SurfCamp
On arrival day, participants will meet in Aveiro at the scheduled time for the included transfer to Praia de Mira. Once at the SurfCamp, you will check in to your bungalow and complete the final cash payment of €150.
The experience starts with a welcome session, where you’ll get all the details about the SurfCamp, meet the team, and get ready for the adventure ahead. Then, it’s time for your first surf lesson, where you’ll hit the waves and start improving your skills.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome BBQ, relax with the group, and soak in the SurfCamp atmosphere. The night ends with a bonfire on the beach, the perfect way to kick off an unforgettable trip! 🔥🌊🏄♂️🍖
🌊 Day 2 – Surf, Adventure & Relaxation
The day starts with a delicious breakfast, followed by an exciting surf lesson to improve your skills in the waves. 🏄♂️
After lunch, it’s time for adventure and sports! We’ll enjoy canoeing and stand-up paddle in the lagoon, followed by a fun beach volleyball game. 🏐🚣
As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a beach bonfire, the perfect moment to relax and share the day’s best moments. 🔥🌅
The night wraps up with an outdoor movie night, enjoying the fresh air and good vibes under the stars. 🎬✨
🌞 Day 3 – Balance, Surf & Celebration
The day begins with a Surfing Training Workout (STW), helping you build strength and flexibility for another exciting day. 🏋️♂️🏄 After breakfast, we review our progress with a video surf analysis, followed by a workshop on making traditional cornbread, where you’ll experience a bit of local culture. 🍞
After a traditional lunch, it’s time to hit the waves again for another surf lesson, refining your skills and enjoying the ocean. 🏄♂️🌊
As night falls, we gather for a beach bonfire and party, celebrating our journey with music, laughter, and unforgettable moments under the stars. 🔥🎉✨
🌊 Day 4 – Farewell & Last Waves
The final day begins with breakfast followed by a last surf lesson, giving you one more chance to enjoy the waves and put everything you’ve learned into practice. 🏄♂️
After lunch, it’s time to say goodbye to the SurfCamp as we take the transfer back to Aveiro. A weekend full of surf, adventure, and unforgettable memories comes to an end—but the experience will stay with you forever! 🚍✨

FORM OF PAYMENT
- 100€ + (Booking fee) entry per person by booking on the website
- 150€ Remaining balance is payable in cash (Euro) on the first day of the tour.
Price of the trip: 250€
1 – you must register and pay the reserve in the amount of €100 + booking fee
2 – ✈️ Transport to Aveiro Flights, buses, and trains are not included. Only transfers from Aveiro to Praia de Mira are provided.
🚆 You must arrive in Aveiro at the transfer time. Once you book, secure your flight to Portugal (if needed) and your transport to Aveiro.
3 – 💶 Payment at Check-in Upon arrival at the surfcamp on the first day, you must make the second payment of €150 in cash.
