💱 Currency depends on the destination

Each Erasmus Fun destination uses its own local currency. We recommend checking the trip page or your Info Pack to see which currency you’ll need for your trip.

💳 Cash or card?

In most destinations, credit and debit cards are widely accepted. However, we always recommend carrying some local cash for small purchases, local markets, tips, or places where card payments may not be available.

💶 Exchanging money

Depending on the destination, exchanging money locally may offer better exchange rates than exchanging it before departure. Your Info Pack will include destination-specific recommendations whenever applicable.
