🚓 Report the loss

In most cases, you’ll need to report the loss or theft to the local police and obtain a police report. This document is often required when applying for replacement travel documents.

You’ll need to contact your country’s embassy or consulate, which can issue an emergency travel document or advise you on the process for replacing your passport.
